  23. Dear LaNesha,

I am a veteran teacher in second grade just outside of East Lansing, Michigan. After downloading your fabulous 'Gems of the Ocean' unit, I just had to write and express my sincere thank you. Please know how inspiring your work is! If I may make a suggestion, have you considered putting this fabulous unit on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. I have purchased many wonderful resources and can honestly offer that your work exceeds most of the units I have perused through and some I have purchased.

I couldn't help but chuckle when reading your blog. Though I don't know you, your voice certainly comes across and your enthusiasm is contagious. Teaching has been my passion, second only to my faith and family, for over 25 years and I just love what your generation has brought to our profession.

Another suggestion I throw out to you is possibly creating a link with Amazon.com so that teachers like myself could donate a book to you and your class for your amazing generosity.

Just some random thoughts I wanted to share on this beautiful Mother's Day morning. Bless you, LaNesha, and I wish you continued success!

    Kindly,

    Shelby Baumgartner

  24. WOW!
Ms. Shelby, thank you SO much!
Firstly, you veteran teachers are my *favorite.* I work with two teachers on my team who have been teaching for 25 and 30 years. They are so wonderful.
Your suggestions are so nice!! I love the amazon one, I didn't even think of that! I'll look into it asap!! And for TpT, that's on my summer project list!
You've made me feel fantastic this morning, thank you SO very much.
    =) LaNesha

  31. AMAZING! I am so excited to have found you! :) I am a teacher turned SAHM to 2 girls and I "work" with them at home! We will be doing an ocean theme in a few weeks and this will be a FABULOUS resource!

I will certainly be following & I can't wait to see what else I will find here - tons of gems I am sure!

I just have to say that your enthusiasm for teaching is so evident on this blog - you simply made me smile just reading!

May my own lil girls be blessed to have teachers like you (and me, lol) in their lives! I would be such a happy Mama!

If not, how do you get the blog to display it correctly on computers that don't have this font? Is it a font that you can select in Design?
